Internship on computational social choice

In the context of the ANR project CocoRICo-Codec, we are looking for someone enrolled in a BS or a Master program, for a duration of six months (negotiable). The project bears on algorithmic developments (theoretical and/or experimental) on the topics of voting and fair division of resources. The recruited student may also help developing new functionalities on the online voting platform Whale .

Supervisors : Jérôme Lang (Université Paris-Dauphine) and Sylvain Bouveret (LIG, INP - Ensimag, Grenoble).

The internship will take place at LAMSADE, and will include some trips to Grenoble.

Prerequisite : strong bases in algorithmics, and preferably some knowledge in one of the following subjects : combinatorial optimization, computational complexity, heuristic search.
