Policy analytics

publié le , mis à jour le

The starting point of this project is the observation that decision-aiding for public policies is an object of investigation in itself, and that it displays some specificities that differ from private decision-aiding (businnes analytics or business intellgence).

The fact that publc resources are used, that legitimacy of deciders is never obvious and is more and more contested, and also that our contemporary states there is a need to be accountable for the choices that are made. All this implies that decision-aiding methods have to be thought about as much as methods to sustain legitimate decision processes.
