I am an Assistant Professor (Lecturer, MCF) in Computer Science at Univ. Paris-Dauphine, and a member of the LAMSADE Lab, within the Intelligent Agents and Cooperative Models Group.

[Research topics] :: My main research interests are artificial intelligence and multiagent systems, and concern various aspects of collective (and often distributed) decision making. More precisely, the topics I currently investigate include: distributed mechanisms for resource allocation, argumentation-based reasoning and interaction, agent communication languages, interaction protocols; and I keep a vivid interest in the semantics and pragmatics of human dialogue.
I am currently involved in the following projects:

  • ANR-funded project on "Preference Handling in Combinatorial Domains" (end: October 2009);
  • ANR-funded project on Computational Social Choice (start: January 2010);
  • COST action on "Algorithmic Decision Theory" (ALGODEC); and
  • ESF-coordinated project on Computational Foundations of Social Choice (associated partner).
I am an Associate Editor of the Journal of Autonomous Agents and Multi-Agent Systems (JAAMAS), and one of the organizer of Panamagents, the seminar that takes a stroll in Paris and makes agents more intelligents ;-)
