Biography

Inès Alaya is an associate professor at Paris Nanterre University and an associate researcher at the LAMSADE Laboratory at Paris Dauphine University. Her research focuses primarily on multi-objective optimization and bio-inspired metaheuristics, such as ant colony optimization and bee colony optimization, for single-objective and multi-objective problems, including knapsack problems, transportation problems, and scheduling problems. Her current research focuses on the field of machine learning (ML), feature selection, and the optimization of ML algorithms using metaheuristics and multi-objective optimization.
