Policy Analytics

he starting point of the project is the observation that decision-making aid in public policies constitutes an object of scientific investigation with specificities which differentiates it from aid for private decision-making (business analytics or business intelligence).

The fact that public resources are used, that the legitimacy of decision-makers is in general far from being obvious and increasingly contested, that in a state of law a certain capacity to clearly account for choices may be required, all of this implies that helping methods must think as much about the final decision as the processes on which it is based.
