Biographie

Jérôme Lang est directeur de recherche au CNRS depuis 2008. Son laboratoire d'affiliation est le LAMSADE (CNRS, PSL, Université Paris-Dauphine). Il a obtenu un doctorat en informatique en 1991 et a été chargé de recherche au CNRS à l'IRIT (Université de Toulouse) de 1991 à 2008. Son domaine de recherche est l'intelligence artificielle, et plus particulièrement le choix soial computationnel, la représentation des connaissances et le raisonnement automatisé. Il a été président du comité de programme de International Joint Conference on Artificial Intelligence (IJCAI) en 2018. Il est ou a été éditeur associé de Artificial Intelligence Journal (2010-2016), Journal of Artificial Intelligence Research (2009-2015), Autonomous Agents and Multi-Agent Systems (2008-) et Social Choice and Welfare (2016-). Il est co-éditeur du Handbook of Computational Social Choice (Cambridge University Press, 2016).
