Data science

In an increasing number of organizations, decision-making is carried out on the basis of information obtained through the processing and analysis of large volumes of data which also have the characteristics of being heterogeneous, highly dynamic, and distributed on several sources, often the Web.

In this context, the decision-makers must be able to learn, to synthesize information, to make it available in accessible forms to different kinds of users, by considering the specific nature of the organization.

The main goal of the pole is to contribute to the identification, formalization, design and experimental validation of models, algorithms and formal methods to support decision-makers.
